Rio de Janeiro cultural events: free theater tours and festivals

Rio de Janeiro features a diverse cultural agenda, including free guided tours of historic theaters. On October 30, Teatro Riachuelo Rio and Teatro TotalEnergies – Sala Adolpho Bloch will offer tours exploring their architecture, history, and backstage areas. The Riachuelo tour, held at the former Cine Palácio, utilizes original dramaturgies to recount the history of the century-old building and Brazilian cinema.

Other regional highlights include the 17th edition of the French Film Festival in Brazil, featuring 21 titles, and literary events celebrating the legacy of singer Belchior. Musical offerings include the new musical 'Confissões de Adolescente' and various free performances by the group Choro Novo.
