Rio de Janeiro hotels win national Elegant Suites awards

Four hotels in Rio de Janeiro were recognized in the 2023 Elegant Suites national competition organized by the Circuito Elegante. The award categories included beauty, comfort, refinement, romance, sustainability, originality and travelers' favorite. Winning suites were the Barão da Fazenda São Luiz da Boa Sorte suite (beauty) in Vassouras, the Master suite at Borgo del Vino Hotel & Vinícola (comfort) in Areal, the Signature suite at Fairmont Rio de Janeiro (refinement) in Copacabana, and the Loft suite at Hotel Santa Teresa Rio de Janeiro – MGallery (romance). More than 3,000 voters participated in the selection, and the three hotels—Fairmont, Santa Teresa and Rancho do Peixe—repeatedly placed among the top performers for the second consecutive year.
