Rio de Janeiro launches vaccination campaign at Acari metro station

The Rio de Janeiro Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS) is conducting a free vaccination campaign at the Acari/Fazenda Botafogo metro station. The initiative aims to increase vaccine accessibility by bringing immunizations to high-traffic areas.

Available vaccines include influenza, for individuals aged six months and older, and bacterial meningitis (Meningococcal ACWY), for those up to 59 years of age who have not yet been vaccinated. To receive the doses, residents should present an identification document and, if possible, their vaccination record.
