Rio de Janeiro offers 120 free IT professional training courses

The Rio de Janeiro Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance (SMAS) and Firjan/Senai have opened applications for 120 free professional training spots in Information Technology (IT).

The available courses include 40 spots for database administrators, 40 for computer network system operators, 20 for Front-End programmers, and 20 for network infrastructure operators. Classes will be held at Senai Maracanã from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

To qualify, applicants must be at least 16 years old, have completed elementary school, and reside in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Course durations range from 180 to 320 hours. Students who maintain at least 75% attendance will receive a nationally recognized certificate. All didactic materials and tuition are provided free of charge.
