During an action in the Gardênia Azul community, Pierre Sá da Silva, known as 'PQD', a prominent armed leader for the CV in the Southwest Zone, died after a confrontation with civil police officers from the Draco unit.

Authorities identified Silva as a key figure responsible for coordinating territorial expansion and managing drug trafficking points in the Gardênia Azul and Cidade de Deus communities. He was reportedly part of the 'Equipe Astro' and involved in violent disputes in areas such as Curicica, Camorim, and Asa Branca.

In the same operation, police arrested a second individual with an outstanding warrant for robbery, identified as a member of Silva's support network. Additionally, separate police actions in Vila Kennedy uncovered a monitoring center used by criminals to track security forces in real time. These operations aimed to disrupt the financial and logistical structures of organized crime and reduce local violence.
