Rio Gastronomia 2026 features culinary classes and samba performances

The Rio Gastronomia 2026 festival, held at the Jockey Club Brasileiro, features a diverse lineup of culinary demonstrations and musical performances. The event includes cooking classes led by chefs such as Elia Schramm, Carole Crema, and João Paulo Frankenfeld, covering topics ranging from special tomatoes to seafood charcuterie.

Musical entertainment includes a performance by Mariah Marini and a headline samba show by Arlindinho, who will perform a repertoire honoring his father and other samba legends. The festival offers access to over 35 bars and restaurants, as well as a producers' market featuring artisanal goods.

Additionally, the city of Maricá is participating in the event to promote its local gastronomy and tourism. The Maricá stand showcases regional cuisine and introduces the Conecta Maricá portal, a free platform designed to provide information on public services and cultural events within the city.
