Rio Grande do Norte candidates intensify regional election campaigns

Political campaigns in Rio Grande do Norte are intensifying as candidates for governor and senate accelerate their regional agendas.

Allyson Bezerra (União Brasil) proposed the ‘PixPai’ program, which would provide R$ 200 monthly to vulnerable students and a R$ 1,000 bonus for those passing their school year. He also pledged to improve school infrastructure, including providing uniforms, materials, and air-conditioned classrooms.

Cadu de Lula (PT) and his vice-gubernatorial candidate, Larissa, are employing a strategy of simultaneous regional agendas to increase campaign presence. Meanwhile, Rafael (PDT) is campaigning in the North Coast, focusing on leveraging tourism to drive local economic development.

Álvaro Dias (PL) is receiving endorsements from local leaders like State Deputy Tomba Farias, who advocates for Dias’s administrative experience to lead the state. The election cycle is marked by high activity across various regions, including Mossoró, the West, and the North Coast.
