Union Brazil councilor Robson Carvalho of Natal ruled out any Senate run and reiterated his pre‑candidacy for the Rio Grande do Norte state legislature in the 2026 elections. In an interview he confirmed support for Allyson Bezerra’s gubernatorial campaign, pledged to back Senator Zenaide Maia for the Senate, and endorsed federal deputy General Girão, citing the latter’s work on animal‑protection and vocational‑training projects. Carvalho also outlined a policy proposal to regionalize public veterinary hospitals across the state.

Meanwhile, Eriko Jácome secured a substantial endorsement bloc from municipal leaders in São Gonçalo do Amarante, a key city in the Greater Natal area. The group includes the municipal education secretary, the head of the water‑sewage agency, and other local officials, as well as Senator Zenaide Maia and city mayor Jaime Calado. Jácome thanked the supporters and pledged to advance development, opportunities, and quality of life throughout Rio Grande do Norte if elected.
