Rio Grande do Sul hosts community festival and pet industry summit

The Centro de Atendimento ao Terceiro Setor (CATS) organized a traditional July festivity in Novo Hamburgo, featuring typical foods, live music and activities for families. The event, called Arraiá do CATS, was held on Saturday, 18, and raised funds for six local NGOs that share the center's premises, attracting dozens of community members.

In April, Caxias do Sul will stage the PetSerra Summit 2026 at the Centro de Eventos dos Pavilhões da Festa da Uva. The two‑day exhibition, free to the public, aims to bring together more than 200 pet‑industry brands, professionals and families, with workshops, a Sebrae Innovation Space and a municipal dog‑adoption drive. Organisers expect over 20,000 visitors, surpassing the 12,738 attendees of the first edition.
