Tierra del Fuego launches enrollment for adult secondary and literacy programs

The Ministry of Education of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur opened enrollment for the second cohort of the "Titularte 2026" program on 3 August. The initiative targets adults who completed secondary school by 2024 but still have pending subjects, offering two‑month hybrid tutoring per subject. Applications are accepted online until 28 August and require a digital copy of the national ID and secondary school record.

Permanent registration also remains open for the free provincial literacy program "Yo, sí puedo," aimed at residents aged 18 and over who wish to learn to read and write. Classes are held in Río Grande, Ushuaia and Tolhuin with flexible schedules and small‑group instruction.

In addition, the provincial education council concluded two intensive pedagogical‑strengthening workshops in the northern zone, providing primary teachers with tools for initial and digital literacy, environmental education and curriculum development.
