Rio Innovation Week 2026 draws Nobel laureates and tech leaders to Mauá Pier

The Rio Innovation Week (RIW) 2026 will take place from 4 to 7 August on the Pier Mauá in Rio de Janeiro. The edition’s theme, “Symbiosis, the future does not happen in isolation,” aims to blend science, technology, business, education and public policy.

More than 2,000 speakers are slated, including Nobel‑medicine laureate Edvard Moser, physicist Brian Greene, neuroscientist David Eagleman, astronomer Jill Tarter, and AI specialist Julian Pistone, among others. The program also features the return of the Brazilian Navy’s NAM Atlântico helicopter carrier.

The regional Council of Administration of Rio de Janeiro (CRA‑RJ) will host a 40 m² exclusive stand offering immersive activities for administrators, students, entrepreneurs and innovation enthusiasts.
