Riot Games reveals final characters for 2XKO before game shutdown

Riot Games has revealed that the fighting game 2XKO will receive two final playable characters, Samira and Sett, on October 27, 2026. This announcement serves as a final update before the game's support is discontinued.

Developer Shaun Rivera stated that the team wanted to provide one last surprise to the community. While Samira was previously confirmed as the 16th character, the inclusion of Sett was unexpected. The new characters will complete the game's roster.

Following a period of layoffs and the decision to end support due to insufficient player numbers, Riot Games is implementing several measures for existing users. The developers have unlocked all champions and bundled most cosmetic items. Additionally, the company is refunding money spent on 2XKO for purchases made on or before August 20, 2026. The game is expected to remain playable for the foreseeable future.
