Ripple expands XRP Ledger utility through AI wallet and institutional partnerships

Ripple is expanding its ecosystem through several strategic partnerships and product launches. The company has partnered with Stripe-owned Privy to introduce embedded wallets to the XRP Ledger (XRPL). This integration allows developers to build applications where users and AI agents can manage assets like XRP and the RLUSD stablecoin without manual private-key management. Ripple reports that AI agents have already processed over 13 million payments on the XRPL.

In the institutional sector, Ripple Prime has launched 24/7 perpetual swap trading, enabling clients to gain exposure to over 100 markets, including stocks, ETFs, and metals. Additionally, Evernorth Holdings has selected Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase, and BitGo as partners to manage its 473 million XRP treasury, with plans to implement on-chain DeFi strategies.

Stablecoin adoption is also advancing through traditional banking integrations. Cross River Bank has integrated RLUSD into its Core Operating System, providing fintechs with a 24/7 payment rail alongside traditional ACH and wire transfers. Furthermore, DriveWealth is collaborating with Ripple to implement RLUSD settlement for its brokerage infrastructure, aiming to provide more flexible funding options for 24/5 trading.
