Ripple CEO predicts XRP could reach $10 trillion market cap
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has projected that XRP could reach a $10 trillion market capitalization within the next 10 to 15 years. This ambitious valuation would imply a price of approximately $179.50 per token, a massive increase from its current market cap of roughly $88.89 billion. Garlinghouse identified several key drivers for this growth, including the use of XRP as a bridge currency for cross-border payments, increased institutional adoption, and favorable regulatory shifts such as the proposed CLARITY Act.
In the short term, XRP is facing market volatility. The token recently experienced a 20% correction, falling from $1.70 to approximately $1.35. Analysts note that this decline coincided with a significant drop in network activity, with daily active addresses decreasing by over 90%. Large holders, or whales, also reportedly redistributed about 90 million XRP during a recent one-week period.
Technical analysts are currently focused on the $1.35 level as a critical support zone. If this level holds, some forecasts suggest a recovery toward $1.60 or $1.90, while others look toward long-term targets ranging from $5.20 to much higher speculative figures depending on market momentum and regulatory developments.
