Rivadavia, Argentina receives over 9 million pesos for school kitchen equipment
On June 5, 2026 the municipal council of Rivadavia handed over more than 9 million Argentine pesos worth of kitchen and dining‑room equipment to local schools. The delivery, organized by the local School Board and the Provincial Ministry of Community Development’s School Feeding Service, included water heaters, an industrial kitchen, freezers, refrigerators, a pizza oven, small appliances and cooking utensils, as well as materials for special‑needs classrooms and maternity rooms. The event was led by Juan Sorrentino, director of the School Feeding Service, and Gabriel Deiure, regional coordinator of the ministry, and was attended by council president Héctor García, council members and school officials. Officials said the new equipment will improve food‑service operations and daily conditions for students throughout the district.
