Rixos Hotels to expand into Thailand with Phuket resort project

Rixos Hotels has signed an agreement to enter the Thai market with the development of Rixos Water World Phuket. The project is a collaboration between Rixos, the international hotel operator Ennismore, and Central Group Capital, the fund management arm of Thailand’s Central Group.

Scheduled to open in early 2028, the resort is expected to feature more than 600 rooms and villas, an integrated water park, five restaurants, and various wellness services. The development aims to introduce the brand’s signature ‘All Inclusive, All Exclusive’ concept to the region, marking Rixos’s first all-inclusive resort in Thailand.

The project is part of a broader strategic expansion into Asia. The new facility will be located near key areas such as Patong Beach, Bang Tao Beach, and Old Phuket Town, positioning it as a significant player in the local tourism landscape.
