Riyadh Economic Forum to discuss knowledge localization strategies
The 12th Riyadh Economic Forum, scheduled to take place from October 12 to 14, will feature a study titled ‘Strategies for the Transfer and Localization of Knowledge and Expertise and Their Impact on Organizational Performance.’ The study focuses on human resources as a core pillar of the forum.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the research emphasizes that localizing knowledge is a strategic necessity for transitioning to an economy based on efficiency and productivity. Using a methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis with international benchmarking, the study aims to assess institutional maturity and identify structural gaps that hinder knowledge utilization.
The study seeks to provide evidence-based recommendations and a practical roadmap to enhance knowledge transfer, empower national talent, and improve integration between various entities. It also explores the transformative opportunities presented by the digital revolution, highlighting the roles of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, universities, and research centers in building a sustainable national knowledge ecosystem.
