Rülzheim police reunite two toddlers found alone at train station

Two toddlers, aged two and three, were found alone at the Rülzheim train station in Rhineland-Palatinate on Saturday morning. The children had left their family home unnoticed while their parents were still sleeping.

According to police reports, the children were wearing only diapers and were wrapped in blankets. When questioned by authorities, the children stated they had set out on their journey because they wanted to “buy new shoes.”

The family residence was located a short distance from the station. Passersby discovered the children and alerted the police, who subsequently returned both children safely to their parents.
