Río Negro allocates energy funds to road repairs and social infrastructure

Río Negro is implementing several infrastructure and social projects funded by energy sector investments and provincial resources. Governor Alberto Weretilneck announced a bill to allocate approximately 7 billion pesos, generated from the 'Proyecto Duplicar Norte' energy investment, toward the repair and maintenance of National Routes 22 and 151.

In Sierra Colorada, the province is expanding the gas network to reach 95% coverage and establishing the first residential inclusion center in Patagonia dedicated to women with substance abuse issues. This center, promoted by APASA, involves an investment exceeding 114 million pesos.

Additionally, the Port of San Antonio Este has begun receiving materials, including 3,340 pipes, for a major gas pipeline project intended to connect Vaca Muerta with the Río Negro coast to support LNG projects. Meanwhile, in Tucumán, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo has called for the 2027 National Budget to adopt a federal perspective that ensures continued funding for provincial works and essential services like health and education.
