Río Negro athletes prepare for Binational Araucanía Games
Athletes from the Río Negro province are achieving success in national and international competitions, supported by the provincial government’s Medium and High Performance Scholarship program. This initiative provides the economic and logistical resources necessary for training, travel, and competition costs.
In preparation for the 33rd edition of the Binational Araucanía Games, the Río Negro Sports Secretariat has confirmed new selections for cycling, swimming, and table tennis. The event will take place from the 25th to the 31st of this month in Valdivia, Chile, bringing together provinces from the Argentine Patagonia and southern regions of Chile.
Río Negro enters the competition as the most successful participant with 16 titles and will seek its sixth consecutive championship. This year marks the debut of table tennis as the eighth discipline in the games, joining judo, athletics, swimming, cycling, volleyball, basketball, and football.
