Río Negro expands educational assessment program to 35,000 students

The educational assessment program ‘Río Negro Explora’ is expanding its scope in 2026. Managed by the Ministry of Education and Human Rights of Río Negro, the initiative will now include 5th-grade students at the primary level and introduce mathematics as an evaluation area alongside language skills.

The program is also making its debut in secondary schools. With these additions, the assessment tool covers approximately 35,000 students across the province. Since its launch in 2024, the device has been a central part of the Jurisdictional Strategic Literacy Plan, aimed at strengthening reading, writing, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
