Río Negro educational assessment expansion

Overview

The Río Negro Ministry of Education and Human Rights is expanding the ‘Río Negro Explora’ educational assessment program. In 2026, the initiative will include 5th-grade primary students and introduce mathematics evaluations to complement existing language skill assessments.

The program is also being implemented in secondary schools, bringing the total number of assessed students to approximately 35,000 across the province. Since its 2024 launch, the program has functioned as a component of the Jurisdictional Strategic Literacy Plan to improve reading, writing, and mathematical reasoning.
