Argentina's provinces roll out salary hikes and mid‑year bonus payments in June

The governments of Santa Fe, Corrientes and Río Negro announced June salary adjustments for provincial public‑sector workers. Santa Fe will credit the first installment of the Sueldo Anual Complementario (SAC) on Friday 19 June, reflecting a 12.5 % cumulative increase based on monthly salary increments agreed in the first‑semester collective bargaining. The payment covers employees of the executive, legislative and judicial branches, prosecutors, retirees and pensioners.

Corrientes will pay the mid‑year SAC (medium aguinaldo) together with a June reinforcement bonus of ARS 100,000 between 16 and 22 June. Disbursement follows a DNI‑ending schedule, with each group receiving funds via home banking and bank ATMs on its assigned day.

Río Negro confirmed a 4.28 % automatic salary rise for the June‑July bi‑monthly period, calculated from the average of national and provincial CPI figures for April and May. The increase also feeds into the first SAC installment due this month, benefiting thousands of provincial employees.

All three measures aim to align public‑sector wages with inflation and ensure timely delivery of the mid‑year bonus.
