Road accidents in Romania injure minors in Sălaj and Satu Mare

Two separate traffic incidents in Romania resulted in injuries to minors. On June 7 near Dragu in Sălaj County, a 19‑year‑old driver struck two girls aged 10 and 11 who were riding a bicycle; both were taken to hospital with multiple injuries. Police reported the driver tested negative for alcohol and investigations continue.

On June 6 in Cean, Satu Mare County, two 17‑year‑old riders collided on scooters after one failed to keep a safe distance. Both sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital. Police also noted negative alcohol tests and are continuing their inquiry.
