Road and Rail Works Disrupt Commuters in Bremen and Munich

In Bremen, the Autobahn GmbH will begin reconstruction of the B6n arterial road between the A1 Arsten interchange and Kattenturmer Heerstraße on 7 August. The two‑kilometre stretch will see one lane in each direction kept open while night‑time full closures are imposed on 7‑9 August and again on 21‑23 August, with traffic diverted via the Kattenturmer Heerstraße and other local streets.

In Munich, Deutsche Bahn announced that the S‑Bahn line S5 will be closed for bridge works from 24 July until 16 October. Bus replacement services will operate between the affected stations, with additional night‑time bus runs scheduled throughout August and September to maintain connections between Aying, Kreuzstraße and surrounding stops.
