Bochnia's A4–DK94 Junction Construction Advances to Third Stage
The third stage of the Bochnia A4–DK94 junction project is 55 % complete, with an 88.5 million zł contract awarded to PORR and a target completion date of December 2027. The phase adds a new 2.4 km stretch of provincial road, upgrades a 1.3 km county road segment, and includes a bridge over the Raba River.
Across the country, multiple local road modernisation schemes are underway. In Gmina Jednorożec, a 2.6 million zł rebuild of a three‑kilometre municipal road in Drążdżewo Nowe is scheduled for completion in November 2026. Gmina Krzyżanów has finished a 5.98 million zł intersection upgrade and 6.375 km of road refurbishment. The Gmina Gniezno funded a new section of Wrzesińska road in Witkowo, supported by a 280 000 zł local grant. Zambrow is constructing a new road worth 8.83 million zł, including storm‑water drainage works.
Water infrastructure projects are also progressing. A 1.16 million zł water network will serve 27 buildings in Trepcza, while a 6 million zł water intake and treatment plant in Szczawin Kościelny matches the gmina’s annual revenue, underscoring funding challenges for rural water systems.
