Road Works Disrupt Traffic in Osterode and Ostramondra, Germany

The town of Osterode in Germany will experience multiple road closures in late July 2026 and early July 2027 for infrastructure repairs, including a half‑side closure on Abgunst/Berliner Straße on 20‑21 July 2027, a full closure on Rolandsweg (Lasfelde) from 20‑22 July 2026, and additional half‑side and full closures on Bahnhofstraße and Bremkestraße on 23‑28 July 2026. Detours are posted to maintain traffic flow.

In the nearby community of Ostramondra, a new paved access road to the local sports field was completed after the municipality allocated €50,000 from its 2024 budget. The road is now open for vehicles, allowing the SV 48 Ostramondra football team to resume training.

Both projects aim to preserve local infrastructure and improve mobility for residents.
