Roads For Life honors frontline government hospitals in South Lebanon

The Roads For Life-The Talal Kassem Fund for Post Accident Care organized a ceremony at the Ministry of Public Health to honor government hospitals located on the front lines in South Lebanon. The event was held under the patronage of Public Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nasser El Din.

The recognition aims to commend the administrative, medical, nursing, and functional staff of these hospitals for their resilience and continued service despite the severe risks faced during the recent war. Honored institutions included Nabih Berri University Government Hospital, Marjayoun Government Hospital, Bint Jbeil Government Hospital, Mays Al-Jabal Government Hospital, Tibnin Government Hospital, Qana Government Hospital, and Tyre Government Hospital.

The initiative was led by Zina El Kassar, who established the program following the loss of her son, Talal Kassem, in a road accident sixteen years ago. The ceremony was attended by various officials, including the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health and members of the parliamentary health committee.
