Roadworks Disrupt Traffic in Levoča (SK) and Kolín (CZ)

In Levoča, Slovakia, the city announced that Košická Street will be fully closed from 15 June to 22 June for asphalt laying and related works. Vehicles will be unable to enter or exit the closed section, and detours will route traffic via Vysoká and Kasárenská streets toward Námestie Majstra Pavla. The municipality urged drivers to obey reduced speed limits and a temporary stop‑zone ban, and warned that nearby Mäsiarska and Špitálska streets will operate as one‑way streets with limited access.

In Kolín, Czech Republic, a newly reconstructed roundabout near the labour office was opened for early use on 12 June. Mayor Michael Kašpar said, “Nový kruhový objezd v Kutnohorské ulici byl právě otevřen a je průjezdný v obou směrech… Dbejte zvýšené opatrnosti a respektujte dopravní značení.” The intersection remains usable only between Politických vězňů and Mostní streets, while exits toward the city centre and the bank remain closed for ongoing works.

Both towns advise motorists to follow temporary signage and exercise caution while the improvements are carried out.
