Armenia confronts legal dispute, fuel imports, new forest service, election data clash and post‑election unrest

A Yerevan civil court has taken up a lawsuit by Narek Karapetyan against the State Commission of the Republic of Armenia (SCCA), demanding a public retraction of claims that he holds Russian citizenship and seeking a symbolic compensation of one dram.

Azerbaijan has agreed to ship 17 rail wagons of diesel fuel (totaling 999,931 tonnes) to Armenia, adding to earlier deliveries of 887 and 479 tonnes in April and May.
