During a discussion on Vandaag Inside, Hélène Hendriks noted she was watching ten Brink’s performance, while Johan Derksen described him as a ‘tiring, annoying man’ who disrupted the program. René van der Gijp characterized the segment as a ‘bad story’ (kutverhaal), suggesting that ten Brink’s refusal to follow the host's cues negatively impacted the broadcast.
