Roberto Occhiuto presents new book on liberal governance

Roberto Occhiuto, the governor of Calabria, presented his new book, ‘Il coraggio di governare’ (The Courage to Govern), at the Galleria Sordi in Rome. During the event, Occhiuto discussed his liberal governance methods used in the Calabria region and suggested these principles could be applied nationally to create a more liberal center-right coalition in Italy.

Occhiuto also addressed the current state of Forza Italia, reflecting on the party's legacy of openness regarding civil rights under Silvio Berlusconi. He raised questions regarding the party's ability to remain modern and appeal to younger generations, noting the potential risk of the party becoming outdated despite the leadership of Giorgia Meloni.
