Robinho Jr. cleared by Santos to travel to Europe for transfer talks

Santos FC has authorized attacker Robinho Jr. to travel to Europe to resolve bureaucratic matters, including work visas and personal documentation, to facilitate a potential transfer. The 21-year-old is traveling to Italy to regularize his Italian passport and dual citizenship through his mother, Vivian Guglielmetti.

Several European clubs have expressed interest in the player. Spanish sides Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano are reportedly considering a loan deal with an option to buy, which could be valued at approximately R$ 60 million. Italian club Genoa has also shown interest.

Beyond club transfers, there is speculation regarding the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) potentially calling the player to represent Italy's youth national teams once his citizenship is finalized. Robinho Jr. has seen limited playing time at Santos recently, having scored only one goal in friendly matches since joining the professional squad.
