Robinho Jr. makes professional debut for Genoa

Robinho Jr., the 18-year-old Brazilian forward, made his professional debut for Genoa in an Italian Championship match against Roma. Despite the team's defeat, Genoa manager Daniele De Rossi praised the youngster's performance, noting that he made an “excellent impression” and demonstrated intelligent play, though he noted the player still needs to develop his physical strength.

Robinho Jr. joined Genoa on loan from Santos at the beginning of the season with an option to purchase the player for 8 million euros. Prior to his professional debut, the attacker performed well with the club's under-20 side, scoring three goals. His transition to the senior squad follows a period at Santos where he appeared in 38 matches and scored four goals across professional and youth competitions.
