Robinho Junior makes Serie A debut for Genoa

Robinho Junior, the 18-year-old son of former Brazilian striker Robinho, made his Serie A debut for Genoa during a match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. The young attacker entered the game in the 83rd minute, replacing Junior Messias.

Junior joined Genoa from Santos on a loan deal with an option to purchase valued at approximately €8 million. His promotion to the senior squad, managed by Daniele De Rossi, follows a strong performance with the club’s Primavera youth team, where he scored goals against Atalanta and Juventus.

Genoa lost the match 2-0, with goals scored by Santiago Castro and Emanuele Lulli. This debut marks a significant step for the Brazilian forward, who previously began his professional career at Santos.
