Robotics companies to showcase new consumer tech at IFA 2026

Several robotics companies are set to showcase new consumer-grade technologies at IFA 2026 in Berlin.

PrimeBOT will demonstrate its PrimeBOT T1 and PrimeBOT Q1 personal robots. The T1 is a transformable robot capable of switching between humanoid and quadrupedal modes for indoor and outdoor use, featuring autonomous filming and educational interaction capabilities. The Q1 is an 88 cm-tall programmable platform with 22 degrees of freedom, designed for customizable companionship and motion.

Additionally, Xcanbot will present the XcanMow Mix 2000 and the Mate X seated mobility robot. The XcanMow Mix 2000 is a robotic lawn mower that utilizes LiDAR and camera vision to map gardens automatically. Unlike traditional models, it does not require buried perimeter cables or RTK antennas, allowing it to operate in shaded areas or near walls with approximately 2 cm positioning precision.
