Roche and Arcus Biosciences announce new clinical data

Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, will present Phase III clinical trial data at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Annual Meeting in Madrid. The data includes results from the Krascendo 1 trial, which evaluated the investigational KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib in advanced G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. The company reported that divarasib demonstrated superiority over current first-generation inhibitors. Additionally, Roche will present patient-reported outcomes from the lidERA study regarding giredestrant, an oral selective estrogen receptor degrader, for early-stage breast cancer.

Separately, Arcus Biosciences held an investor day to discuss new data for casdatifan in treating kidney cancer across multiple lines of therapy. The company shared updates regarding the drug's efficacy in first, second, and late-line kidney cancer treatments.
