ESMO 2026 oncology clinical data presentations

Overview

During the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Annual Meeting, several biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies presented new clinical trial data regarding cancer treatments.

Roche and Genentech reported Phase III results from the Krascendo 1 trial, indicating that the KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib showed superiority over first-generation inhibitors in treating advanced G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. Roche also shared patient-reported outcomes for giredestrant in early-stage breast cancer. Concurrently, Arcus Biosciences provided updates on casdatifan for kidney cancer efficacy.

Other presentations focused on antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Kelun-Biotech released Phase II results for sac-TMT (SKB264) combined with pembrolizumab for cisplatin-ineligible urothelial cancer, reporting an objective response rate of 68%. Additionally, Innovent Biologics presented Phase I data for its CDH17-targeted ADC, CM518D1, which showed a 33.3% objective response rate in patients with advanced colorectal cancer.
