Roche receives FDA approval for Enspryng to treat thyroid eye disease

Roche has received FDA approval to market its antibody, Enspryng, for the treatment of thyroid eye disease in adults in the United States.

This regulatory expansion broadens the drug's approved uses beyond its existing indication for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, which has been approved in the U.S. since 2020. The new authorization allows the pharmaceutical company to address a different autoimmune condition by leveraging shared immunological mechanisms.
