Rock al Parque celebrates 30 years in Bogotá
Bogotá is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Rock al Parque, one of Latin America’s largest free outdoor music festivals. The event takes place from October 10 to 12, 2026, at the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park.
To commemorate three decades, the city has unveiled ‘La Rockera,’ a bronze sculpture by artist Rafael Melo, and launched ‘El Gran Humedal,’ an exhibition at the Virgilio Barco Public Library detailing the festival’s history. The 2026 edition features a diverse lineup of national and international artists, including Apocalyptica, Stratovarius, and Ghetto Kumbé.
Authorities have announced logistical measures for attendees, including specific entry hours (5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for park access), road closures on Calle 63, and a list of prohibited items. The festival is organized across four stages: Plaza, Bio by Vans, ECO, and BBC.
