Rock in Rio 2026 opens ticket activation, extra sales and 24‑hour transport service

The 2026 edition of Rock in Rio has moved into its final preparation phase. Digital tickets are now activated and transferable through the Quentro app; fans receive instructions via their Ticketmaster email and must validate identity, with Comfort Zone tickets requiring facial‑biometric registration. An extraordinary ticket sale is scheduled for 6 August, offering remaining general‑admission and Comfort Zone tickets at R$ 870 (full) and R$ 1 950 respectively, with discounts for Itaú customers and a limit of four tickets per person per day. The festival will host more than 860 food‑and‑beverage outlets, including a curated Gourmet Square run by chef Pedro Siqueira. To manage the expected crowds, a special public‑transport scheme has been launched: the Metro Rio will run 24 hours on festival days and connect to a dedicated BRT Expresso line. BRT tickets cost R$ 29 for a round‑trip and are sold exclusively through the Jaé app, which also handles payment via the Transport Account balance. Three BRT routes (SE008, SE009, SE010) will link key terminals to the Jardim Oceânico station near the festival site. All measures aim to ensure safe, fast and sustainable access for attendees.
