Rockhampton Brahman Week bull sale begins at Gracemere

The Rockhampton Brahman Week bull sale has commenced at Gracemere, featuring 735 bulls catalogued for the three-day event. The sale includes various types, such as 267 horned bulls, 112 homozygous polled, and 416 poll scurred bulls.

On the first day of the sale, 245 bulls were sold, with all but one achieving a result. The day one vendor average reached $12,877, which is currently on track to exceed the previous year's overall average of $11,540. High-performing prefixes included JRL with an average of $40,600 and Viva with an average of $43,200.
