Roda da Sorte faces competition in Portuguese television ratings

The new TVI program ‘Roda da Sorte’, hosted by Cristina Ferreira, has faced fluctuating viewership numbers following its debut. While the show initially secured leadership in its time slot, subsequent broadcasts saw it slip to third place in the early prime-time competition.

On September 22, the program recorded a 5.4% rating and a 14.2% share, totaling approximately 531,200 viewers. This allowed RTP1’s ‘O Preço Certo’, hosted by Fernando Mendes, to take the lead with a 6.2% rating, while SIC’s ‘Casados à Primeira Vista VII’ secured second place with a 5.5% rating.

By September 23, ‘Roda da Sorte’ stabilized its audience slightly, recording a 5.4% rating and a 14.3% share (532,900 viewers). Despite this stabilization, the program remained in third place. RTP1 maintained its dominance in the slot with ‘O Preço Certo’ achieving a 6.6% rating and a 17.4% share, followed by SIC in second place with a 6.1% rating.
