Rodeo finals in Brazil spotlight winners at Expoagro in Cuiabá and Expoacre in Acre

The final of the rodeo competition at the 58th Expoagro in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso took place on Saturday, July 18. Local rider Murilo de Lima secured first place with 439.25 points, earning a car and the stage champion title. Daniel Batista of Inhumas placed second, while Renato Frazão and Felipe Matheus rounded out the podium, receiving cash prizes and a motorcycle.

In the neighboring state of Acre, organizers of the Expoacre announced the finalists for the 2026 Rainha do Rodeio contest. The selected candidates will represent the beauty and culture of the region’s major agricultural fair, with voting to determine the queen pending.

Both events highlight the continued popularity of rodeo as a cultural and sporting attraction within Brazil’s regional fairs.
