Rolex Swan Cup: Freya and Arobas lead after second day of racing

The 23rd Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo has concluded its second day of racing under ideal conditions, featuring Mistral winds between 16 and 26 knots across the La Maddalena Archipelago and the Gulf of Arzachena.

In the Swan Maxi class, Freya (Swan 90) has taken the provisional lead with 8 points following two consecutive victories. In the Swan Mini-Maxi category, Arobas (Swan 601) maintains a two-point lead over Cloudy 7. The Swan Cruiser Racer class sees a tight competition, with From Now On trailing leader Thetis by only one point.

Other notable leaders include Lunz am Meer in the Classics by Frers category and Pride in the Swan Legacy ≤44’ class. In the One Design categories, Earlybird leads the ClubSwan 50 standings, while Pez de Abril holds the lead in the ClubSwan 42 class. Racing is scheduled to continue with the final day of competition.
