Rolex to auction four unique Four Seasons Daytonas for charity

Rolex has announced the creation of four unique, gem-set Cosmograph Daytona watches inspired by the four seasons. These one-of-a-kind timepieces will be sold as separate lots at a charity auction held by Phillips in London on September 28.

The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Federer Foundation and the environmental conservation organization Re:wild as part of Rolex’s Perpetual Planet Initiative.

Each watch features a distinct combination of precious metals and natural stones:

• Spring: An 18k white gold case with a chrysoprase dial, lepidolite counters, and purple sapphire accents. • Summer: An 18k Everose gold case with a turquoise dial, heart-shaped ruby counters, and pink sapphires. • Autumn: A yellow gold model featuring mookaite, chrysoprase, and green tourmalines. • Winter: A platinum case with a blue-opal dial, lapis lazuli counters, and graduating blue-to-fuchsia sapphires.

All four models utilize the contemporary calibre 4131 movement and include 54 brilliant-cut diamonds set into the lugs and crown guards.
