Rolls-Royce SMR supply chain portal launched for Czech firms

The Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Energy Industry of the Czech Republic have launched a new portal, modulreaktor.cz, to assist Czech companies in joining the global supply chain for Rolls-Royce SMR small modular reactors.

The portal provides a centralized location for companies to view current tenders and express interest in specific commodities and services. While ČEZ is considering small modular reactors for locations such as Temelín, Dětmarovice, and Tušimice, the opportunities provided by the Rolls-Royce SMR program extend beyond the Czech Republic to include projects in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Selection for main commodities is scheduled to take place through the end of 2027. The initiative aims to establish a long-term export pillar for the Czech economy by integrating local industry into international nuclear technology projects.
