Roma hires Tony D'Amico as sporting director; Lazio targets Danish prospect Asp Jensen

AS Roma announced the appointment of Tony D'Amico as the club’s new sporting director. D’Amico, known for generating high‑value player sales such as the €26 million transfer of Marash Kumbulla at Verona, will oversee talent scouting and the creation of marketable assets while the club works to resolve its UEFA Settlement Agreement by the 30 June deadline.

SS Lazio’s director of sport Angelo Fabiani is focusing on strengthening the squad with young talent. The most concrete target is Danish midfielder Jonathan Asp Jensen, a 2006‑born Bayern Munich prospect currently on loan at Grasshopper, valued at about €5 million. Lazio also monitors Polish youngster Przyborek as an alternative, but the primary interest remains on securing Asp Jensen on a loan or permanent deal.

Both clubs are seeking to improve their rosters and financial positions ahead of the next Serie A season.
