WWE sets Money in the Bank card following RAW developments

The October 5 episode of WWE RAW set the stage for the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event. In the main event, a number one contender’s match between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan ended in a no-contest following interference from The Judgment Day and an attack by Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Consequently, Vaquer has demanded a Triple Threat match against both Lynch and Morgan at Money in the Bank.

In the men’s division, Roman Reigns returned to RAW to confront LA Knight ahead of their scheduled World Heavyweight Championship match. The confrontation included verbal exchanges regarding Reigns’ status and the ongoing involvement of the faction 946. Additionally, Reigns announced that Solo Sikoa will join The Usos to face 946 on the following episode of RAW.

Other notable results from the broadcast included Rey Fenix defeating Ethan Page to earn an Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Chad Gable. In tag team action, Je’Von Evans and Penta secured a victory over Austin Theory and Bron Breakker, though the segment ended with Bronson Reed attacking the winners. Oba Femi subsequently confronted Reed, setting up their match for the Money in the Bank event.
