Romania: 70% of population uses artificial intelligence

A recent online survey indicates that 70% of Romanians use artificial intelligence tools in their daily routines. Usage rates vary significantly by age group, with 89% of Generation Z utilizing AI, compared to 39% of Baby Boomers.

Despite high adoption, the study highlights concerns regarding transparency in critical sectors. Over half of the participants struggled to distinguish between AI-generated and human-written text. Furthermore, 32% of respondents expressed that they would feel betrayed if they discovered that medical explanations from doctors, psychologists, or banking consultants were generated by AI without their knowledge.
